Leo Rifkind
CEO and Co-Founder
Chief Executive Officer. Leo sits on the IC of Chiron’s growth initiative, Legacy25, and is Chairman of the World Fencing League. Leo practised as an M&A attorney at Freshfields and Skadden Arps, before the acquisition of Charlton Athletic with Thomas Sandgaard. Leo was Director at Charlton before leading the exit to Canyon Partners (2023). Leo subsequently founded a structured credit group backed by a $50bn+ fund. Whilst at Chiron, Leo has led Wycombe Wanderers on their exit (2024), Venezia FC on its growth financing (2024), the acquisition by Rob Couhig of Reading FC (2025) and the incubation of Legacy25 and the World Fencing League. Leo studied Law LLB at the LSE, LPC at BPP and LLM at Berkeley Law.

Sam Helmy
Executive Director and Co-Founder
Executive Director. Sam trained in Real Estate Private Equity at AXA Investment Managers and Greystar before moving to The Common Group where he co-founded the Sports Division. The Common Group acquired stakes in Vitesse Arnhem, Leyton Orient and Patro Eisden. Sam spent two years as a Director at Patro, including as interim CEO. During that time, Leyton Orient and Patro Eisden achieved promotions to League One and the Challenger Pro League respectively. Sam holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences and an MSc in Management Studies from Northwestern (Kellogg School of Management).

Subomi Odunowo
Investment Team
Investment and Advisory Team, and General Manager for Team Drogba Global Africa. Subomi spent over 10 years working in investment banking, including M&A and capital raising roles at DC Advisory, Renaissance and HSBC. Subomi has completed transactions in excess of $10bn. Prior to joining Chiron, Subomi acted as buy-side advisor to a consortium seeking to acquire sports investment assets in the major European leagues and provided strategic advice to financial sponsors around sports development in emerging markets. Subomi studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the University College London.

Rahul Shah
Investment Team
Investment and Advisory Team. Rahul spent 8 years working in Private Equity and Investment Banking, with previous roles at BDT & MSD Partners, Rothschild & Co and HSBC, where he focused on the Consumer, Leisure and Sports sectors. Rahul has worked on numerous high-profile M&A transactions, including capital raises, take-privates, carveouts, structured minority deals and ongoing strategic advisory, with a total deal value in excess of $15bn. Rahul holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (First Class Honours) from the London School of Economics.

Zhen Ren Teo
Company Building Team
Company Building Team and CEO of the World Fencing League. Zhen was a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group, advising corporations across telco, financial services, and sports. Zhen holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from London Business School where he served as Student Association (SA) President and a member of the School’s Governing Body, including leading a 70-person executive committee, tackling campus-wide challenges and delivering the School’s largest events. Zhen is also a former national swimmer and record holder for Singapore.

Sydney Crombie
Company Building Team
Company Building Team and Commercial Operations Manager. Prior to Chiron, Sydney was a brand manager at The Kraft Heinz Company, managing a suite of 9 brands and delivering end-to-end product innovation, portfolio strategy, brand identity development, and promotional campaign execution across the portfolio of ~100 SKUs. Sydney holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and an MBA from London Business School where she was the President of the Women's Football Club and the Marketing and Strategy Club, orchestrating the club's first annual industry conference.

Keegan Stephenson
Marketing and Brand Team
Keegan Stephenson is part of the Marketing and Brand Team and serves as Marketing & PR Manager at Chiron Sports Group. Previously, she managed a $1.2B brand portfolio at Kraft Heinz, leading growth strategy, commercialization, and go-to-market execution for high-potential brands. She holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Business and Marketing from Vanderbilt University, where she played NCAA Division I Soccer and competed with the U.S. Olympic Development Team.

Niccolò Luci Scarampi
PORTCO OPERATIONS
Operating Partner. Nicco was Head of Business Development at Lega Serie A, where he advised the CEO and General Assembly, oversaw the League’s expansion into the United States. Prior to Serie A, Nicco worked as Chief of Staff at Infront Sports & Media. Nicco holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the European University of Rome and an MBA from London Business School.
